Hertz UAE’s achievements have been recognised by various awards bodies in recent years and the company has been named as the Best Car Rental Company – International Brand at the prestigious Middle East and North Africa Travel Awards 2007 for the fourth year running. The award is based on votes directly from customers.
The Superbrands awards are held in many countries around the world and dubbed globally as the ‘Oscars of Branding’. Superbrand status is only awarded to companies which meet strict criteria set by an independent Superbrands Council
and is an endorsement of the intrinsic strength of an organization and its brand value. Hertz UAE has once again been awarded this status in 2010.
Hertz UAE was ranked number one in a mystery shopper survey of car rental companies conducted in 2010 by leading travel magazine Arabian Travel News and Ethos Consultancy based in Dubai. The mystery shoppers rated Hertz on a number of points including outlet appearance, whether it was easy to find, cleanliness and tidiness, grooming of employees, visibility of name tags, how long it took for
the customers to be served and the overall customer experience. Hertz came out top in all categories with a score of 91%.
Hertz Rent a Car was selected as one of the members of the Travel Hall of Fame for the third year in a row in the Travel Trade Gazette Asia Annual Travel Awards for having consecutively won the “Best Car Rental Company” award for ten years in recognition of its innovative sales and marketing programmes, comprehensive network and modern fleet.
